Best Dremel Attachments For Cutting Metal

Thread Starter
The title pretty much says it all. I am looking for attachments to cut the sheet metal in my case. I usually just use a jig saw but i have been having problems with it. Thanks in advance.

If you have any spare cash get the 38in flex-extening arm thing, works great for corners

Also, look for a Tungsten Carbid grinding bit; it is awesome for evening out the cut.

Additionally, the cutting wheels come in different diameters. Getting the larger ones will ease the job and make cutting a little easier, especially if you have larger hands.

The radius of the disk dictates how close to the panel or piece being cut the hand is; too small and the disk gets forced to an angle. Not always a big deal, but something to consider.

This will become apparent if you are cutting in the middle of a large panel. as the wheel gets worn down it becomes harder to work (at least for me).

If you can get some diamond blade disks (we sold them at the HW store i used to work at, but they were not dremel brand disks) they work awesome.

I think the higher RPM's used, the easier corners will be to cut. But the larger the disks, the more awkward it gets to make a corner (rounded corner).

I would definatly suggest getting a 114mm hole saw to do that, from my experience cutting holes with a dremel = pain in the arse
