I keep having windows freeze up on me after install. Thought it was my ram but can't find the culprit. i also can't install any drivers for windows 7 64bit off the foxconn support site. My day has went bad, lol. I haven't ever had an install like this. I'm using Gskill Trident 2000 if anyone knws anything.
What speed and timings are you running your ram at? (you might want to fill in your profile system settings so we can see and help you). I'm running similar ram G.Skill Ripjaws 2000 F3-16000CL9T-6GBRH with my firstname.lastname@example.org but I noticed that I had to really loosen the timings quite a bit to run it at 2000, so instead I'm underclocking it at 1600 to run 7-8-7-16-59. I still have more testing to do to see if I can tighten it further but the mem is running fine for me.
Also if you are overclocking your 920 and getting freezes I wouldn't automatically suspect the ram, you might just need a bump in vcore instead, at least that's what worked for me following the excellent "Guide to overclocking the i7 920 to 4ghz"
