I'm running it, if I remember correctly I'm not needing as much voltage for 3.8ghz and there isn't much droop at all (compared to P09 or 07), and if I turn on load line calibration, CPU voltage goes up with load. I also had trouble getting a stable 4ghz with the newer bios and since I BOINC 24/7, I figure 3.8 is pretty safe.
OH, and I went through heck pulling out my hair when I was flashing. Once I ended up with a BIOS that wouldn't post, reset on the back didnt' work. I ended up playing with the jumpers to get it to go to the secondary bios, then flashed again to the wrong one and had the one that wouldn't boot in both slots, but luckily it worked the second time. I kept forgetting which I was working off of and which was backup. In the end now I have 07 in backup and G42 running in the main slot.Edited by steadly2004 - 9/7/10 at 7:11pm
