lol few more 4890 problems

Well im gonna ask if anyone else is having these problems. I thought isaw somewhere other people complaining...

So in crysis fps is decent but screen flashes black about ever 15 seconds for half a second and its annoying and hurts my eyes >.>

In mostly every other game that ive tested so far (WoW, Farcry 2, Cod4, Cod5 and HAWX.) have stuttering even tho im getting like 60fps steady (vsync) its very jittery, however i did not notice any issues within GRID and TDU.

Anyone have any solutions?

Thanks

My cards seem to do this only when catalyst is changing clock speeds from 2d to 3d speeds i.e. from 240MHz to my 985MHz though i don't get it every 15 seconds...

don't have any system performance measuring utility in the background, especially gpuz.
from that list only problem that i remember was with FC2 DX10 mode with ati cards, other then that all games should work fine.

HHhhhmmmm, well haven't experienced that myself except in FC2, which was fixed.

Just throwing it out there, have you tried uninstall and driver cleaner, install?

Put up the core speeds on the OSD, see if they're dropping out.

Well i cant get OSD to work. but i cant see how downclocking can be related to black flashes in crysis and stuttering in games while its still reading a very playable fps.

it might just be dipping down real quick and jumping right back up... If you have a second monitor either open rivatuner and watch your clocks or put the CCC on the other monitor and see if you can tell...
