Best Sound card out there.. No price Limit - Page 3

An external DAC with an optical in and RCA outs, connected to an Onkyo SR606 receiver. Soundcard would be an Audiotrak HD2 or a HT Omega Claro....really only need that optical out.

Any opinions on the HT Omega Striker 7.1? I have this card, and I think the sound is amazing.

But then again there are some serious Audiophiles here and what i thought sounded amazing so far, has been shot down..

I bought Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe on newegg.com. The card is the beast for movie and music but it's freaking horrible for game. The best feature of Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe is DTS-HD and Dolby True-HD. I am planning to sell my Z-5500 receiver to get Pioneer 819HK which costs only $300 and supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD

http://www.cantatis.co.uk/index.php?pag=cms&id=129&p=overture.html
this one is with the best dacs ever
there are no good 32bit dacs, that s why this is 23 dac but with the best THD
and there are two of the dacs in the card
there are cards with four similar dacs - Sondigo inferno Sound Card
but you cand find the Sondigo inferno
so you can buy Overture 192 with the superior dual dacs ..
but maybe that would be best for AUDIO and music
As for video of dts audio sources, sondigo inferno is better

You can buy the A1 beyerdynamic headphones, and you can just scream from being so happy
