nForce 680i SLI sound drivers

Thread Starter
I know this has probably been answered on here before, but I am wanting to know where I can manually download the sound drivers for an nForce 680i SLI motherboard(BFG). I have drivers installed but Vista 64bit installed them by itself from Microsoft. Where can I get the correct drivers for this high definition audio device onboard the 680i SLI? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Is the driver for this audio device the 'RealTek HD Audio'? If so, which version should I get?

I guess I probably should have searched a little longer on this before posting. I found the RealTek drivers...but which download is right for my BFG 680i SLI MB: Vista Driver (32/64bits) driver only or the 3D SoundBack Beta 0.1?

Probably the Vista driver.

Have you looked on the Nvidia website for them?

Heres what I come up with

The nVidia nForce driver does not include the drivers for sound.

  • Ethernet Driver (v67.89) WHQL
  • Network Management Tools (v67.96) "Sedona"
  • SATAIDE Driver (v10.3.0.46) WHQL
  • SATARAID Driver (v10.3.0.46) WHQL
  • RAIDTOOL Application (v10.3.0.46)
  • SMU Driver (v1.61) WHQL
  • SMBus Driver (v4.69) WHQL
  • Away Mode Driver (v6.0.6000.107) WHQL
  • Installer (v6.69)

Mine were automatically installed by Microsoft. I think that driver is causing problems too because some games crash. I've set my GPU back to stock speeds and tried several driver versions. So I don't think it is the GPU or GPU driver.
