You said that you have a ticket # submitted and never got a response from us. Post your ticket # and I'll take a look and find out why there is such a delay.

btw, have you tried using a different Video card? and see if you get the same behavior. Or maybe use the onboard graphics on the board if it has one.. just to make sure its not your video card.

@Shortysmalls, I'm afraid X-predator is right. Sounds like your PSU has given up. I would suggest that you get that unit replaced via RMA. Have you submitted a ticket about that issue yet?

I haven't ask for rma because im pretty sure i don't have a warranty anymore, i had to replace the fan when it was a bout a year old since it was making a loud noise, and it was quicker to replace the fan then to RMA the whole unit. I think its about 4-5 years old now, not even sure still in warranty.

You dont need more then 550 watts for one GTX 780ti

Unless you are going to overvolt

If you want a Seasonic KM3 why not look at the Cooler Master V850?

Its the same PSU as the AX860 just cheaper and without the coil whine problems

Why spend more money when its the same thing you end up with?

Thanks for the reply. If they are built the same wouldnt they both have the same issues? Here in au, there is 20 dollar difference but you get 2 year additional warranty with the corsair . Not having a go just curious.

They are not 100% the same

Cooler Master knew about the coil whine so i think they did something about it

Either with or without Seasoinc´s help

i need not say more..look at this above review...and

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ixi-Dhryd7o&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dixi-Dhryd7o

sorry corsair reps..but the ax 860 has got whining issues..and sometimes horrible fan noise..why dont you just remove the fanless mode completely...have the fan run 24/7 @ low rpm and ramp up as need under load...ive found same issues on your new gs series of psu aswell..the hybrid fan mode is terrible..makes a noise like a grinder ..ive done two setups for people with gs 700 & 800..sometimes the fan want to come on..makes 1 spin up..then stops..now i cant tell people what to buy..but i can here and now tell you corsair..you need..to..stop...making...psu..with..these..silly..issues..please...!!!!you r taking peoples money..for something that should not be
