Thank you so much for your support. It's nice when your work is appreciated.

I wasn't implying you were neglecting Anth0789 but I can't take praise without shooting some back at him for all his work on this thread. I am just a small piece to the puzzle.

Nice work.

Just waiting on Anth now to update the first page.
Edit: Didn't know the 7970 GHz Edition performed on par/a bit better than the 680. News to me.

Your welcome, I'm glad it makes your decision easier. I have two main motivations for making the chart. The first is for my own knowledge and interest in computer hardware. The second is to be a help to you guys and give you a single location of comparison for all current gen graphics cards.
The GTX680 and HD7970 GHz Edition are pretty evenly matched at low to medium resolutions (1680x1050 and 1920x1200). Which card is ahead will of course depend on the specific game tested but TechPowerUp uses a vast game library of 18 and 2 synthetic benchmarks. So you get a good variety to have an accurate average. It's at high resolutions like 2560x1600 and 2560x1440 and extreme resolutions in multi-monitor Eyefinity setups when AMD's cards with their immense memory bandwidth and frame buffer shines and pull away. This is the case for the HD7970GE vs GTX680 (288GB/s vs 192.3GB/s), HD7970 vs GTX670 (264GB/s vs 192.3GB/s), HD7950 vs GTX660 Ti (240GB/s vs 144.2GB/s), and HD7750 vs GT640 (72GB/s vs 28.5GB/s). In the case of the GT640 the card has a larger frame buffer but is crippled by the use of DDR3 memory, even at lower resolutions it just get's blown away by the HD7750 (Nvidia cheaped out on the memory and it shows, that is supposed to be remedied by the not yet released GTX650 Ti). One thing my chart doesn't show is the minimum frame rates but maybe that will be a future addition.
