Graphics Card Ranking - Page 54

Sorry should have provided that.

mobo - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775
CPU - Q6600
Power supply - 750w
RAM 4gb

I have a 4850 right now but the fan burnt out. Currently it has a CPU fan tapped to it!! frown.gif Strangely, it runs BFBC2 just fine, lol. I suppose I cold just get another fan, but they are pretty pricey.

I do like a warranty when spending $100 but would consider used if the seller is a respected member of a forum. Any recommendations?

$119 is close enough to my budget for the Sapphire. So that might do it.
Your CPU is totally fine for BC2 and probably BF3. I've had a HIS HD4870 laying around for a long time but it's only the 512MB version. I think the 5770 will be just fine. BC2's minimum is a 7800GT/X1900 with a recommended GTX260. A GTX260 is JUST a tad better (arguably on par with) than the 5770.

Anyone know where the GT 440 is ranked? Looks like Nvidia quietly debut the card this month.

Would it be fair to say SLi GTS 450's would be between a 6870 and 6950 or more below a 6870?

Look at the OP again. There is a list of SLI vs. Xfire setups in same ranking. The SLI 450's just aren't on there

I'll even quote it.

I think the 4870x2 should drop down quite a bit, especially with the new drivers for the 5800 and 6800 series..
