Best Ram for E1400

Thread Starter
i've recently thought my GPU was bad , but running serious stress test now and its topping out at 85C and stable for a long time so my card seems to be fine (evga GTX 260 core 216) I'm kindof thinking my ram/processor combo is bad or something, i'm getting f'd up textures in games/applications when i have any large amount of load on my PC, garbled video strange textures etc. right now i have Gskill memory its ddr2 800 6-6-6-18 1.8v-1.9v

get G.Skill PI Black series, but be aware because it's taller than common ram

If 2GB is your goal, then should get 2X1GB rather than 1x2GB.Something likes this.

my goal in the end was to have 8 gigs total, which is why i got a 2 gig stick. i just downloaded prime95 and memtest86 and getting errors in both which leads me to believe that my particular stick of ram is bad. should i just replace this faulty stick and get a new one? or is there something wrong with my processor too? i'm not sure how to find that out, but there are definately errors in my ram, b/c memtest is finding all sorts of errors. I think gskill has some kindof warranty for my ram so i can most likely get it replaced.

suggestions?

I got pi blacks and love them. Much better than dominators in my opinion.
