I decided to put a window in on my Elite 335..

These pictures were taken almost immediately after the fab work was finished.
I still need to repaint the case (inside and out) and tidy up a few other things.

The excitement was boiling over, so I had to get some pictures up!

Looks nice!

I'm planning on doing the same, but I have no tools anymore, they were stolen out of my car a while back. (along with my subs, amp, and cd deck.)

Dude sorry to hear, i on the other hand already have one haha!

So why a new better psu? It will increase performance? Dont know much bout psu's so if anyone can enlighten me on that topic it would be great.

Your window looks great btw!

I was thinkin gettin a new cpu cooler first as mine as u can see is quite small, surprisingly enough it holds its own, ive currently got it overclocked a small 7% from 2.7 to 2.9 but it never went past 35max load, but before i overclock with the intent on keepin it oc'd ima get new cooler. I will as well be painting my case, idk what though, as everyone does black. So im trying to think whatl look good that isnt common. You guysl have to see

Better quality PSU means more consistent power which increases overall stability along with longer component life. It also allows for better overclocks than a cheapo PSU does.

A better cpu heatsink/fan would also benefit you if you decide to OC more. That thing you have is nothing more than a stock heatsink, if it's even that good. Something like a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ would be a HUGE upgrade and isn't that expensive.

I took a couple more pictures of the rig after tidying up a couple of things.
(Sorry, I'm borderline whoring now)
Anyway, since it's too cold to paint, I lined most of the case with black, rubber sound deadening material, including the inside of the doors.
Case temps have not risen and sound is a little more subdued.
It's not the prettiest, but I won't see spray painting temperatures for another few months.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the transformation this far.
As a reminder, I also attached some pictures of my progression over the last month or two..

I don't think these pictures do justice either.
It looks better in the flesh.
But maybe that's just my sense of accomplishment blurring my vision.

edit: Sorry.. cell phone pictures suck.

Okay i will look into a new psu, any good quality brands and what size would you recomend with the stuff im runnin?

I know it is a stock heatsink. Even though it is stock i was saying it doesnt do too bad for a stock cooler. best one ive had and its actually smaller than most ive had. I was looking at the 212+ so im glad you said the same as it verifies that its good that much more. Will it fit in my case?
