Elite 341 owner here, I love how you can fit lots of hardware in such a small case! And the airflow!

Man, that is tiny. That 212+ is almost as big as the entire motherboard.

But all kidding aside, well done. That took some work to get all of that in there and still keep it neat and tidy.

Thx, the PSU isn't even modular or sleeved, I tried...

I first tried to put a fan on the side panel but it didn't fit with the 212+ in the way (in both the up/down left/right configurations, it would fit up/down if I removed a fan from the heatsink but I wanted to keep a push/pull setup), so I placed it in the front next to my graphics card as I didn't want to have any fans lying around unused (I paid for the fans, might as well use them somehow). It's stuck there with double sided adhesive. It might have dropped temperatures maybe 1-2°C, I didn't really notice a difference.

Very sexy looking 341! I'm actually jealous on how clean it looks compared to mine (which is craptastic).

What fans are you using for your intake/exhaust?

That reminds me:
Would a Megaflow fit on the side panel fan mounts?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-073-_-Product

It looks like it could, but I am unsure. I'm thinking of snagging a low profile cooler and one of those instead of my Hyper212+. Something's messing up my temperatures, and I cant pin it on airflow or a bad seating.

Here's a pic of mine laying down because of a hard drive failure, using an IDE in the meantime before i get a new SATA one, didn't wanna hassle with hooking it up internally if its only temporary:

Will have to go back and do some more cable management. Might look very cluttered but with the exception of this temporary IDE drive, none of the fans are blocked by anything (also except the GTX 460 power cables).

I'm using these fans for intake/exhaust
http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/prod...roduct_id=2891
They're not really great but they were cheap and I'm not a silence freak. The fan in front of my graphics card is a 120mm Antec Tricool Blue LED fan, the fan doing the pushing for the heatsink is the stock fan that comes with the 212+ and the one doing the pulling is the stock case fan for the Elite 341 (which I think is one of the variants of the Cooler Master R4)
The two slots in the sidepanel are only for 80/92/120mm fans, anyways, even if you manage to attach it somehow half of the 200mm fan will be blowing into the side panel... unless you mod the case or something
I think you should try reseating the cooler first, and check if the heatpipes aren't damaged, etc

What's your case window mod like? I'd love to get one for my 341 too.

I'll be checking out the Hyper212+ today to see what might be wrong, perhaps the thermal compound isn't spreading properly (its OCZ Freeze) or I just keep aligning it wrong when I put it on the CPU.

As for the side panel, even only if a limited amount of air is being sucked in, it will be sufficient enough for me to test out to see if it works. I might end up modding my case anyway and making a side window with mountings for that 200mm fan, and ventilation. But not for a while at least.

I seriously hope it's just a botched seating. Been considering a new case because of it, but would rather not get a new, larger case.
