Batch# Xeon W3520: 3845A935....920 D0: 3849B203
vcore: 1.248 (both)
QPI: 1.30
DRAM: 1.64

All power saving features disabled
RAM DDR3 1688Mhz 7-7-7-20 timings
Air cooled (lapped TRUE, rubber grommet modded with Kaze 3k push/pull)

Both at 4.0GHz (211x19)
Eric, drop the volts on the 920 D0. I have the EXACT same batch as yours and look at my screenshots. I need 1.17 volts to reach 4.024 on my D0. I can do 4.2 at 1.225, so the same batch should not require 1.248 to do 4Ghz.

I'm working on it. I only had time for one Prime95 run before leaving with my girlfriend to go camping for Memorial Weekend (leaving in an hour). So I just wanted to see if I could run the same voltages as my Xeon W3520.

I've turned HT off. I had it on but I didnt see much gain at all other than higher temps and slightly harder to stabilize over clocks....then I read this articles -> http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/cpu/ci7-turbo-ht-p1.html ....... it pretty much convinced me to turn Hyper Threading off.

So have you guys been experiencing high temps (that're pretty much on par with C0 temps) even though you're able to run lower voltages?

I'm wondering if it'd be worth the trouble of trying to sell or eBay my C0 and try to grab a D0 from my local Microcenter.

What do you consider higher temperatures?

Load tops out from 66C down to about 62C across the cores

Dam ill have to see what mine can do when i get a better mobo.Im struggling with any OC at all atm.I can do 4.0ghz easy but i cant get it stable at anything over 3.8ghz.But truthfully i havent had much time to mess with overclocking on this thing yet.Maybe this weekend i can figure it out.But one good thing is i have my GTX 285 sold so maybe ill get a Asus P6t Deluxe V2 next week with the money
