Yeah I know what you mean!

I am still having issues with my cooloing, so I need to take another look at it. I have a feeling my Xeon will OC much higher then the 920 D0 I currently have.

noob question... can someone tell me why my ram and cpu frequencies are showing half of what they should be in CPUZ? I remember this happening with my old q6600, but I can't remember the solution.

Thanks!

add me to the list 4.0 + ht @ 1.2v

by the way, do i need to increase voltage if i enable intel turbo boost to make it stable ? it's very stable now at 4ghz, ran occt for hours. Really tempted to enable turbo boost for 4.2 but i am not sure if still stable with turbo.

Also 4.0ghz idle temps around 50-55c, max load around 80c in occt, is that alright ? I know normal gaming, encoding, etc won't even reach 75c. (very hot in my country )

Batch #3847a990, see attachment:

Every board has a semi-wall at 222 BCLK. 223 will lockup automatically unless you raise your PCI-e clocks. It took me 104 on my DFI with my C0 B stepping to get a 228BCLK and took 107 on my Classified with my A stepping D0. I know of some going all the way up to 130PCI-e. Be aware that strange issues will also sprout up. I lose lan at 105PCI-e most of the time. I'm working on a cross comparison of my C0 and D0 for a couple of friends and at the extreme end(over 220BCLK) my D0 needs almost just as much juice for the same speeds as my C0 but being a B stepping makes a big difference.D0 Bs > D0 As > C0 Bs > C0 As is generally true so far.

What about it? 4.7+ low ram speed and 4.6+ faster ram speed but if you meant to beat that with HT off than Devsk hit that already, you need @ 20% more clocks.
