I have herd that you can unlock with p03, but don't know from experience.

All of the AMD processors that were able to unlock only had about a 50% chance of unlocking, it was never a guarantee so maybe yours doesn't unlock.

i finally got a hd3850 yesterday, so i could disable the IGP. My suspicion about the IGP limiting the fsb overclocking proved correct. my previous max using the IGP was 240mhz, and last night with the 3850 i got as far as 265mhz, and i reckon it could go further before i start needing more volts.

only problem is i was messing around with the cooler, didnt put it back on properly and promply frazzled my nice shiny new (well ... £30 2nd hand) card. So im back on the IGP

I think its done something to the motherboard as well, as it needed a cmos reset and 4 attempts to boot up earlier :S. I ran prime for a couple of hours and nothing out the ordinary happened...

I mean, successfully unlocking disabled coreswith A7da-S/A7DA DDR2.

Foxconn sent me a BIOS to test. I will post the BIOS here if it works and if anyone is still interested.

Hi Sir yuks. I unlocked my 720be with the same BIOS as you have. PM me your email so that I can send you the file in case they are not the same, but mine was the 81BF1P12 version.

I suggest the following steps as this works for me every time I can not post and have to reset the board VIA cmos;

1. Well, reset CMOS so that you have every setting as mine, lol. (makes sense does it?)
2. Set your multi to your default.
3. Disable Cool n Quiet + C1e + TLB
4. Add some volts to your CPU, +100mv is what I use.
5. Everything else, leave it how it is when you cmos reset.
6. You should not set Core Releaser to Auto yet. Save changes and Exit.
7. At the foxconn bios screen, press F3 when you see the red text telling you to enable core releaser.
8. The PC will reset again and @the Foxconn screen, you should see the red text as "hidden core released" or something similar.
9. Cross fingers that it gets stable.

PS; some times the pc just sits there and does not even beep, I just hard shut down the pc (press n hold the power button) and turn it on again and it boots with the unlocked core.

Should look like this in Bios;

hello mate, it look that i have the same bios like you, and i did step by step what you have doe.. but i have few questions..

1- did you enable you mouse/keyboard in bios ?
2- after save changes and axist, the pc shuts down and then automatically powers on ?
3- pressing F3 means press and hold the button, or just pressing one time
4- after pressin F3 the pc shuts down and then automatically powers on again ? (just like step 2? )
5- what stepping is you cpu ? mine is 0910 APMW

-------
In this step:
7. At the foxconn bios screen, press F3 when you see the red text telling you to enable core releaser.
not red text appears.. the pc just shut down as tell you above in my step 3
