what? no. it can only hybrid crossfire with low end cards like 3450, 3470 and 2400/xt/ it's basically intended for htpc that can do a little bit of a gaming. the 790gx is the best chipset for ocing, and the most efficient too.

Again sorry for the faulty information, I shall be more careful in the future. I hope I didn't kill this thread

I have a question, my power supply isn't very powerful (sig rig) and it only has a 4-pin CPU connector. I believe from the reviews I read that the power consumption goes up at higher clocks (and from extra Vcore probably too). Could this 350Watts powersupply be bottlenecking my overclocks?
And what is the difference between a 4-pin and 8-pin CPU connector anyway?

don't worry.

i'm also just using a 4 pin connector. and from what i can observe, i'm really having a hard time using more voltage. so i guess it's really a bottleneck

thanks, I want to try it with a heavier power supply but I don't want to waste money on it..
Luckily a PC store has a contest where you can WIN a 1000watt power supply! (http://www.alternate.nl/html/lottery/lottery.html it's dutch and only for netherlands/belgium people.. those racists )
Now just hope that I can test the difference for free!

i dunno about am3 cpus. you may have an old bios. just update it that's the case.

my complains with that bios are, if multi is set to auto, it will trigger cnq even if cnq is disabled. while when you the multi to any value, it will just be 16x no matter what. then mobo reads my other ram with tRC of 15 while the other one at 10 even if i set them both at 10. putting the tRC value to auto will make them both 15 which is the speed it should run. and lastly, i don't see anything there that has to do with the l3 cache speed or volts.

What temps are you guys getting on your northbridge? Mine seems to run ridiculously hot...50C at idle/55 load. And did anyone try mounting a fan on the NB? If so, (how) did you remove the heatsink?
