Ok.. this don't do crap for me. My monitor is 60HZ and the windows is stupid enough to show 59hz? Can anyone assit me in making this not happen again? I'm annoyed i'm not at 60hz?

Wait a min.. am i suppose to do every reboot AFTER every applying each settings?

Step by Step?

which driver are you using? have you tried creating the same resolution under custom resolution to force windows to recognise the 60hz?

EDIT:

I had to do that to stop windows capping my FPS at 24 or 23, it might work for your problem. Try this:

Hope that helps smile.gif

Just a note it im using 266.58 driver.

Yeah Windows 7 has a 'TV recognition' with digital inputs where it defaults to some weird HZ and setting custom resolutions will not make a difference...

The main game with this problem is 'CRYSIS 1 and 2' where TV's will default to 24HZ (movie mode) in full screen and you would have to hit alt+enter or just play in windowed mode for a 'smooth' experience...

My answer is just to use a VGA cable if the TV has VGA inputs... looks good and no 'digital' after effects to add input lag...

Actually i have done this before but however i am not using drivers what you are using. I'm on 280.26 newest WHQL update however.

This never happened to me before with older drivers and i don't wanna revert back. I wish Microsoft would fix this retarded error lol.

But i'm using DVI dude. I don't wanna use a VGA and i don't think my GTX 460 has a VGA port unless i'm having a brain fart today.

dvi to vga adapter, usually included with the card.

it doesn't, but the box should have come with a DVI to VGA port adapter(along with DVI to HDMI)...
