For Nvidia, Guru3d's Rivatuner all the way. Not sure how well it works with ATI cards.

I prefer rivatuner, but evga precision works rather well and is simpler than rivatuner. I don't know about ati cards, since I haven't owned one since a 9800pro.

Rivatuner is an all around good overclocking program ,but i prefer EVGA Precision tool.... The card doesn't have to be EVGA to use it by the way... I believe only nVidia.

For ATi, you can use Catalyst Control Center (which can be downloaded in a package from the ATi site along with your card drivers. Very simple, since fan control, temps, and OC settings are all in the program.

Well see i had CCC on my computer already and for some reason after i set it up with the wizard the program won't pop up when i try to use it so i was just trying to find another program that would work since i can't get catalyst to work. i just downloaded it from the website and it's still doing it so i guess i'm gonna try something else then.
