That heatsink doesn't suck. It just isn't as good as others.

Depending on what he is doing, it could be.

the 450vx is more than enough for a 4890.

who cares if it's "cool".

Good Point On The Cooler.

But Less Then 500W For A Decent End GFX Card Is Undervolting In My Opinion.

Besides It Doesn't Matter Anyway.

Great build!

I do recommend Arctic Cooling MX-2 over OCZ Freeze though. Should be an easy 3.8ghz. Consider a 4890 as well

CPU + RAM Combo: AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz & G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
Mobo:GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P
CASE + PSU: COOLER MASTER RC-690 & CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W
GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4890 1GB OC edition $20 off with promo code HARDOCP61VGA2, ends 6/8
DVD: Go with w/e is in stock at the time you order

~$795 with shipping, $775 with video card promo code

If you thinking about Crossfiring the cards later on go with this combo
Antec Nine Hundred & CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W
Total is ~$805 with this combo, $785 with video card promo code.

Unless you plan to overclock you don't need an aftermarket CPU cooler, but if you do go with this XIGMATEK Dark Knight-S1283V

70GB isn't that much storage at all. If that all you need then its fine, I myself don't really use that much storage. If you do need more storage go with Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB
