I wonder??? Has anyone thought of removing the fan from the door with the mesh and put it on the other side?

This could improve air flow right??

Exactly remove the fan turn the panel upside down and slide it on the other side of the case. The side of the Motherboard

I have not tried it........ It was only a thought.

I'd recommend cutting the small pieces of filter away from the plastic that holds the fan and filter. then use some panty hose(in my case i used the dust filter from the original side panel as I bought the acrylic side panel and don't use the original)

I made a filter for the PSU also with this extra filter I had.
I'm sorry I guess I've mistaken my sizes. I have a 140mm fan down there. It mounts right onto the case.
I removed the filter contraption and mounted the fan to the floor of the case. I tried to add it to the underside but there was no where to run the wires (without adding a hole).

I bought case grommets, just had not felt like going out to the barn for tools.

The filter has mounting holes for 140 and 120 mm fans.

I mounted a 120 down there, but had to remove some of the metal mesh underneath the filter because it was in the way for the 120mm screw holes.
strange huh.

They don't seem very bright to be honest but that could be a good thing, neat idea never the less.

Now about this bottom fan mount confusion, the simplest way of doing it is with a 120mm fan and no filter. If you remove the filter you'll see that a 140mm fan i actually too big for the mesh cut out. Mounting said 120mm fan is as easy as 4 washers, I even think I posted a pic way back that shows how I have mine held in place...

Thats actually with a 140mm which has since been swapped with a better 120mm fan, but as you can see I just used washer to hold the fan in place. Now I have anti vibration fan mounts with the same washer holding up the current fan. For running the wires theres a very easy solution, remove (or break) one of the clips that actually holds the bottom panel on behind the mobo tray and pass the wires through that hole. 3 pin fan connects fit but only just, I use the same hole to pass the power wire down to my bottom mount cathodes.

Finally about switching the side panel to the other side, simple answer is it wont work. The way the panels are made is left right, not reversible, this is because of the way the panel actually attaches to the case. It locks in on top and the bottom is just floating on the bottom lip of the chassis. When I got my clear side panel I wanted to put the mesh as the back side but it wasn't happening.

Well I hope I helped answer a few questions.

Looks really good.

Some future mods.
Some people take out the hdd drive bays and mount their hdd (if they have one only) in the 5.25" drive bays.

I don't see the purpose it it but some people do it.

Cable management is never perfect and can always be refined.

If you have the old side panel you can cut the filter in a square shape out of it to tape on the PSU intake part of the case(requires removing the bottom plastic on the case)

If your case isn't all black you can paint it all inside black.

You can add a fan with zip ties to the hdd cage to pull more air through the hdd cage, to get more air to the graphic card.

I modified my case to have two intake fans, the 200mm intake, and the 120mm intake at the bottom of the case, and only ONE 200mm exhaust so my case has positive pressure. All air coming in has to go through the dust filter.

Many little mods can always be done.
Add led strips, and mod a switch on the front panel to turn it on.

uhm massively long thread lol.

Just bought this case. It looks amazing as CM has out done themselves again

I know this will fit with my H50 but can someone show me which page or re-post ther setups as far as mounting the H50.

Ive seen ppl interestingly mounting it in the drive bays, on the top of ther case or outside of it. lol weird. but im what is the general consensus for cases like this that best optimizes the cooling from the 200mm fans? and my setup will be the AP 15's push/pull.

thx
