Has anyone had success with this using the stock 120mm fan? I couldn't get the bottom part of the case to go back on when I put the fan under the fan grill on the outside part of the case.

Another question. Currently, I have the fans and rad for my H70 in the place of the rear 120mm like so; (case) (fan) (radiator) (fan) (inside of case).

Does it make a difference if I change to this: (fan) (case) (radiator) (fan) (inside of case)?

I have my 2500k OC'd to 4.4 and it never breaks 58C, so I'm fine with the temp. But, I was wondering if my H70 fan setup was perhaps intefering with case air flow.

Thanks!

the fan can go outside the case, but it will look kinda ghetto, the airflow should be fine with it inside the case

I can't put the fan on the inside because my PSU blocks the space. Maybe I'm being stupid, but I can't get the fan to go outside of the bottom while still attaching the bottom grill thingy.

Sorry, I thought you were answering my question about the fan for the bottom of the case (and not the H70)

So wait you cant get the Fan attached to the bottom of the case? The reason for this is because CM never designed it to work this way, its suppose to go inside the case. The easiest way is to remove the filter and use washers to hold the screws to the grill. I can take a picture of how I have mine if you need.

38C idle is fairly high.
Do you have power saving features on? Does the cpu downclock to save power?

You could easily have 3.4ghz oc while still having power save features on.
I have all cores on my 870 on 3.6ghz and it clocks down to 1.3ghz on idle to save power and temps idle at 26C!
