wondering if anybody here has tried a 140mm be quiet! silent wings 2 fan in bottom of case and if it would fit properly

Hi
I will buy a new CPU i7-3770k and I wanted to buy a new cooling. Specifically Corsair H100 but I do not know whether I fit in CM Sniper Black Edition. I do not want any wardrobe malfunction. H100 will fit into the chassis up?

Can't say that I've tried that specific fan bit I have put other 140 mm fans in the bottom fan slot, the plastic retainer system is designed for 140 mm fans with full bezels, unfortunately the fan you have referred to is not a full bezel fan and might have an issue with the stock retaining system and you'll probably have to secure it another way. Besides looking at the fans design its best when secured using the four corners with the built in anti-vibration dampeners.

I'm sure someone on this forum here has done it before, look through the links to members builds on the first page and I'm sure you'll find one with an H100 installed like your wanting to. On another note I think on the CM website they say somewhere that it is in fact compatible with the exception to certain motherboards with excessive heatsinks near the top of the motherboard above the CPU that will create a clearance issue when you go to install the fans on the rad... And then theres the part where I try to Google it and the first thing I find answers your question. Honestly you should have tried searching "Storm Sniper H100"
