so I've been messing with this board for quite awhile now that I just got watercooling. My previous best results with my Q9550 were only 3.2Ghz stable.

Anyways I have not been able to get this board to go over 470mhz FSB for the life of me. I took apart the mobo cooling, replaced the TIM, did through bolts, and put some nice panaflo's on both the cooling harbor and NB area of the cooler.

But my settings are as follows:

Latch 1333
FSB fine tune disabled
DDR enhance mode disabled

Vcore +.2v
NB +.3
DDR +.3
VTT auto (Left this at auto b/c it is locked to NB voltage)
GTL0 .67*vtt
GTL1 .69*vtt
MCH GTL .64
PLL 1.5V

CPU clock skew 200ps
MCH clock skew 400ps
clock drive 900mv

Nothing I seem to do changes the FSB wall at 470, even 1mhz fsb over 470 and the whole system locks up. The CPU doesn't seem to like anything beyond 3.7Ghz even with 1.45V. I have even set PLL to 1.6v and NB to +.35 and cant get this thing to hit my 4Ghz goal. Seems I got stuck with a bum C1 q9550. But still in testing I cannot get the board to hit more than 470mhz fsb with DDR @ 1:1 and the multi set to 6x.

anyone ever get a post code E1 with their Tpower?
i know it's memory related, cleared cmos, removed 1 stick of the Patriot EP's and tried to boot with 1 stick, still get E1. removed both and tried Team Xtreem's in one slot, cleared cmos still get E1.
i read somewhere that someone had to use different memory to get the system to post in to the bios, anyone experience this before?

actually with ddr2 800 ballistix in there and the patriot's i got the same issue. turns out not enough power from psu and circuit in my house was overloaded i guess.... sucks being in an old house....

popped patriot's and ballistix in my sig rig and worked fine. Tpower works perfect now.
