COMPLETELY REBUILDING THREAD. KK? Probably won't be the same as my last build. Actually, it won't, but i'm trying to keep it extremely similar. Removed the GPUs, going after a cheap piece of **** to hold me off till the GTX 300s/HD 5000s come out.

Public Wish List

Case

PSU

Mobo

HD

CPU

CPU Cooler

No GPU currently, deciding on some piece of sh.t.

RAM

DVD Burner

Monitor

Keyboard

Headphones / Clip on

SOMETHINGS MIGHT BE MISSING. THAT IS NOT NORMAL, PLEASE NOTIFY ME.

TOTAL - Calculating it with the most expensive parts...

I still need more advice as to whether or not my choices are the best ones. Keep in mind that i'm going to be doing A TON of gaming.

I don't see a graphics card, there and i'd suggest a UD3P motherboard.

Seems like a solid build. Dont know if you game much but picking up a used 8800GT or something on the forums would be a decent gpu to hold you over til the GTX300s/HD5000s come out.

+1 for the UD3P, and I'd get this RAM instead. Don't buy the tracers for the LED lights. I haven't heard much good on them.

No. Just no. G. Skill RAM gets HORRIBLE reviews from a good majority of people that I talk to. The Ballistix was HIGHLY recommended to me.

As for anyone who is calling bull **** on how much I game, you are obviously one of the following or any combination of them.

1) Ignorant
2) Blind
3) Lazy
4) Stupid
5) Illiterate (almost forgot that one!)

THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS BUILD IS TO PLAY GAMES AND I MOST CERTAINLY WILL BE DOING A HELL OF A LOT OF IT.

As for the lack of GPU, i'm going to get some Sub-$50 GPU and wait till the GTX 300s/HD 5000s come out.

Woah, easy tiger. Did someone say something, then erase it? It didn't look like anyone was 'dissing' you.

Anyhow, look in the for sale section here, you can probably get a decent GPU to hold you over.

I own 3 sets (2x2's) of the G.Skill and not one problem. In the end though, of course, buy what makes you happy.

*edit* Here you go, 8500gt for $35 shipped.

Well you have been misinformed. Tracers are not the best you can get...they die prematurely for the most part.
