Anyone play www.ogame.org? - Page 330

I'm on a private Irish server. probably not programmed exactly the same as ogame.org But everything looks the same and pretty much behaves the same, sans the stupid purchases they added and renaming stuff that didn't need to be renamed. Yeah, I find the ships. Guess I need more begging strips. The expedition messages are in French, so i have to google translate the results LOL 99% of the game is in English though.

Why not go the official way?
Bugged game with french messages is kinda....stupid to do if you can get the good version for free IMO.

official game is not always free. You have to pay for officers. You have to buy that new "substance" they invented so you can bribe your way to ranking up. And it is buggy as are all games at some juncture. I had several levels over and above the astrophysics required to colonize a planet as well as every other requirement, yet I could never colonize.

And what's up with that "queuing" system? Isn't the concept of queuing placing stuff in line for production? You have to wait for a building to finish before you can select your next build. In the private one you can set up building on a schedule.

Anyway, I was in Universe 42, which I think is beta, even though that was the officially "recommended" universe. Then again, other people did have colonies, so something was up. So, the private one is much more enjoyable for me (and my roommate) and only a year or so old. It is setup the way the official ogame was before they monkeyed with it. In fact, that's why the guy decided to create a private version, because of the ridiculous changes. There's nothing to buy, and I only have 429 people to contend with instead of 12,105! The guy running it did a heck of a job.

Almost none uses officers, and you can get them for free as well.
(Dark matter expeditions)
Never bugged anything for me o.o?
Building/waiting system works fine AFAIK.

Have fun on the server

^I'd make the trade if I could...maybe in a few more weeks when my mines aer a little bit more up there 8 )

Right now at my Homeworld base I have:

660 rockets
46 gauss
47 plasma turrets
large dome
small dome
20ABM

Where does that stack up against somewhat big fleets? Should I have to worry if I have 400kM or 400kC sitting around?

Hhahahahahhahaha
XDDD
I love Towik

I forgot to fleetsave.
Normally this is no problem seeing my fleet is kinda small and my defense covers it.
BUT!: this time I had 2 million metal, 1.8 million crystal and 600k deut laying on it as well.
So this rank 800 dude probes me, and attacks me.

Earlier today I reacted to Towik his request of 600k metal for 400k deut.
He said the trade was off and that he put on a new trade so I asked the metal back.

When Towik sends the last shipment of my metal back, the attacking dude phalanxes my planet to check if everything is still alright.

He sees Towik his ships towards mine and figures I'm online.
He recalls the fleet and I'm saved :wheee :
