you can definitely do this yourself.

just take your time and take it slow and you'll be fine. sure it might take you an hour or two with good cable management but it's defiinitely better than spending an extra $150 for some guy to spend the same amount of time doing the same thing with an unknown quality of work.

do i really needa powerbar or can i plug the computer directly into the power outlet ? Those PSU looks like they have all kinds of protections already.

I would never plug my pc into an outlet directly, must go into a UPS in my advice, but non less then a surge protector.

I got mine in a APC 1500 Watt UPS
