Your fanboy senses were tingling? You're the only fanboy I see around here. AMD isn't some evil third-world company that rebrands Pentiums as Phenoms and sells them to make profit; they have legit processors that are solid performers and I see no reason to not buy one especially if you are on a budget.

If I were on a budget build, I would go AMD all the way, save a lot of money with them.

He must've meant semi-budget build

Anything over $1000 is not budget :/

Come on! When are all your parts going to arrive! Lol seems like I'm more impatient than you are

lol you cant have a core i7 BUDGET build its just rediculously expensive
because as everyone (i) says your pc is only as good as its worst part

you may have enough money for an i7 but everything else is down the drain

even though u already ordered i would get a
i7
1200
corsair psu
2 wd caviar black in raid0
probs a better mobo

im not tryna be rude but i have figured out that if your going i7 which is extremely overkill whats the point if your getting the cheapest parts for every thing else

I don't see what's wrong with the motherboard? Have you read the reviews for it?

I don't want to bash you, but your rig doesn't look any too good either (especially that 15" monitor lol).
