And why would I want this??? Not really an amazing app....
I think this something more suited to like kiosk PCs n stuff...

if you have read through the thread and the faq i linked to and still dont think this is for you then feel free to not use it, but there is no reason to bash the program as me and as you can see other members here do indeed like and use the program.

So it is just an Application Virtualization device then.

No offense Schubie, but I wouldn't trust a program that confuses my "hard drive" for "main memory/system". Neat little tool though.

Don't recommend this for slower systems, it didn't work out well for me. But I think it's a cool idea, and I'll run it when I have a better pc.

More like ... Sandboxie confuses MALWARE into thinking that it is operating on your hardrive. In actual fact it is operating nowhere near your hardrive and never reachers the OS. Sandboxie replicates the registry, confusing malware into thinking it is actually screwing your PC. If you set Sandboxie to delete after every browsing session, malware = gone.

Sandboxie is the best protection around. You can run browsers, and anything you want inside Sandboxie. It is basically a virtual Operating System. Nothing ever reaches your real OS whilst it's working in Sandboxie.

i just started using this and this is far better than any antivirus or signature based antimalware app. if you like sandboxie you can check out geswall which is not a sandbox but it isolates the browser like sandboxie.

Well said. If anyone is running an older system they should check this out, and ditch that real time scanning virus software that just wastes resources.
