Get a board that supports PCIe for future proofing, dont get boards that has AGP slot

you can search around for another motherboard that has build in firewire. The A8N SLi has 1 firewire slot and additional ones if you need them.

Tom's hardware doesn't have a comparison between dual and single core A64's. How does a dual core processor help SINGLE-tasking is my question I guess?
A 2.2 GHz with 1mb cache vs. a 2.0 per core 512kb per core pretty much. (+$100)
