I have an NES here, and if it was broken then I would do something like this.

But it's not, and I have SMB3, so I can't do that. lol.

Or I could do a DOUBLE mod, and put a PC in the NES, and the NES in something else! Hmmm...

But yeah, definitely want to see this. Put pix up ASAP!

Use Photobucket if Imageshack is being lame. Or attach them to the post! You can upload pics to posts you know

Temps get up into the 50's under full load, but stay around 30ish when idle. I don't have much experience with dual core AMD chips so I don't know if that is good lol. I did add a tiny exhaust fan to get rid of some of the hot air though.

When's the next mod of the month nominations supposed to occur? I'd nominate this.
Thanks man! I spent A LOT of time on this, hopefully it will pay off in the form of a mod of the month badge.

BTW, waht'd you use to cut the plastic? By the meltmarks I'd assume a dremel w/ the reinforced cut-off wheel, but I've never been able to cut that straight w/ a dremel.

Yup, I used a dremel with the reinforced wheel. I had to be VERY careful to get the lines that straight lol.

The only thing I can think of is instead of just using USB you should have kept the original controller ports and rewired them so they connect via USB. (NES controller has 7 "pins", take 4 of them for the V, D+, D-, and Ground)
