if it fails don't come back here saying TECs are no good - they are great if used within their constraints. We need to stop this now we are diluting Ultra's thread.

No worries! im not that kinda guy..

and your right! BACK TO THE WORK AT HAND!

Amazing thread. Just spent a few hours reading it! One thing that I'm a bit confused about is the original IDLE temps quoted and the V2 temps quoted in post 599. When you say "Please note the Core temps don't go below 11,4" are you refering to a limit with the software or something?

hi there ..

i think it's more of a hardware thing than a software limit .. but basically thats right no thermal monitoring app will show the CPU below those temps

muffy, did you try any ultra low voltage tests? Like voltage so low that idle temps were in say the 30s range?

no i didn't. i might point out at full load the CPU is colder than the CPU can read which is 4-4-11-11. this is lower than 30. at idle it gets to -26c . if the cpu was at stock im sure the load temps would be -5 -10 if it could read that low

see temps here

no no no, low TEC voltage not CPU voltage. To see what the lowest power consumption you could get when not needing -degrees.

Nicely done. I just wonder whether that labyrinth not creates a bottleneck. In my Zahlman waterblock, the water can run through it at high speed where I think it won't be that easy at your design?
