i believe what he was saying was that he ordered a chip from newegg, and it didnt overclock very well so he returned it. then he ordered a chip from tankguys and it came DOA.

It greatly bothers me that people are accusing me of overclocking or making this chip faulty when I received it faulty out of the box.

I'm not a liar and I DO NOT like being called one.

Find that hard to believe. Newegg doesn't allow "returns" on processors - only exchanges.

He claims he has not OCed the chip, just put it in to a known working rig and it would not work.
His former thread on Ocing his 9650 was posted in April so if he has had this chip that long he might find it difficult to RMA through tankguys but there is always the 3 year
