System Requirements:
* ANY ORIGINAL VERSION OF ARMA 2 from 1.00 to 1.04 (including the Steam version, note that Verify file cache and autoupdate will not work properly until the full 1.05 is also out directly on Steam)

* DirectX 9 from August 2009 or newer is required and should be updated during the patching process automatically as needed or you can update your version of DirectX from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/


Installation:
Run the patch exe to apply the patch setup automatically.

It will install all content of the patch to the folder with your ArmA 2 installation (default is C:\\Program Files\\Bohemia Interactive\\ArmA 2 or Bohemia Interactive\\ArmA2).

Please note that it is not possible to rollback to a previous version after the installation of this patch, only a full reinstall of the game is possible, if you want to keep your previous version you may want to backup the entire game installation folder before applying this patch.

It is generally not recommended to use any savegames created in previous versions.

i dont know which settings cause the biggest performance hit... i dont feel like tweaking around w/ arma 2... guess i need to do some reading.

I wonder if anyone can help me out with this.

My buddy lost his CD case which had his CD and CD-key in it. The game is already installed and he's wondering if there is a way to find his cdkey in the registry so he can register it on steam and download it from there.

i didnt know we could use cd keys to download off of steam... I dont think that's possible...

I'm pretty sure you can. You register the key, there a button next to "add non steam game"

"Add non-steam game" is just a feature to add installed games and use steam as the game launcher, you could even add different programs not related to games.

The supported games for this action are at:

Yes I know, I just couldn't remember what the button was called. Drag that it's not on the list. Finding the key would still be very helpful

i played the hell out of this game over the summer, loved it, and the realism that it brought with it. set it down for a moment

just re-downloaded it via steam. I am wondering if the update is automatically added? my game is saying it has not been updated since September 15. Do I have to apply this update myself? any help would be awesome

and also has anyone used ACE on Arma 2? Is it awesome?
