Okay, nice.

. POGE, my advice to get parts would be to go dumpster diving. You may not believe it, but franchise companies like Circuit City and stuff only keep unopened returns. But if they find something that was opened and returned for ANY reason at all (that means disliking the color, wrong socket, etc) they will throw it away. I would go to these stores at about 1 or 2 AM and check out their dumpsters. It's only illegal if there are posted NO TRESPASSING signs. Which usually they won't have. If you get caught by an officer, they will simply ask you to drop whatever you have scavenged and leave. At least that's the way it is here in Utah, and in Texas and Wyoming too.
EDIT: I have over 5 cases of CD-Rs, CD+RW, DVD-R, DVD+RW, etc, and that was in 1 NIGHT!! I also got 4 10ft extension cords and a power strip. There was a tag on them all saying the reason for return was "sticky goo on the outside". It was from a removed sticker.... how stupid.
EDIT2: They should make a counter for how many edits people do... I would hold the record
