Am I doing something wrong guys???

Thread Starter
For a couple months it seemed that I had enough work to get me through the week. But here lately, it has dropped off a lot. It's been two weeks since any of you sent me anything and I'm here now asking, why?

If you have some suggestions on something that I could be doing better, just post up in here and let me know. I will do anything that I can to make it right.

Let me know guys, I'm hurting right now and it's about to the point where I'm going to have to sell my powder coating stuff just to pay a couple bills. I like coating for this site and if you read the Artisan rules, this is the only site that I'm allowed to sell on. Thank you for your time.

I have thought about getting into it, but not ATM. Right now it's just powder coating. I would have to reinvest in a lot of new tools in order to do acrylic correctly. But, give me time as it may happen.

Weather is getting better and better for painting, so you may see a small drop because people will be more inclined to go DIY. But I may be sending you a small amount of work soon.

yeah i am over here on the Oregon coast at a restaurant, and business is taking a hit, we got busy...but only just recently! late june is crazy, and harsh, we usually get busy at the end of april.

I heard a thing about the Merriott hotels from someone in upper management here. saying that it is going to take years and years to bring back the room rates they used to have right before 9/11 happened... and then the recession on top of that.

Some places are down 40% of the business they used to have.

Even at the hotel i work with, reservations used to be a year out to get anything...now? one day ahead...or even same day.. Sad deal.

thats a big reason why i chose to get into the air force (not in yet but bootcamp is this fall) Guaranteed work...guaranteed paycheck..

you arent doing anything wrong TDN...just that not so many people can buy the extras right now...

edit: i apologize now for bad grammar...pls forgive

Just hit me up and let me know what you have and we will work something out. I'm thinking about making a new price list just for this site so that I can atleast have something to do. It will not be as cheap as it was when I first started on here, but it will be cheaper than it is now. Just keep an eye out.

I have that project but you were backed up when we talked about it, and now I have come to a point where I have to aquire some spare funds. I don't think your doing anything wrong, its just powdercoating is a luxury that a lot can't afford.
