It's a great game, takes some times to get used to controls etc tough.
I just tried the demo not the full game but there should be no difference. Also im on win 7 maybe that could be the problem

Demo is a lot more choppy than retail. So I suggest you pick that up, my friend

Hi Chaps, I'm new to oc

Really looking forward to ARMAII, currently playing BF Project Reality, which is awesome yet my new rig and Vista 64 needs some fine tuning as there are some issues.

I know this is the place of guru's, Hoping to get some advice

Thanks chaps

Welcome to OCN mate!

First thing to do is to read some guides at the Intel CPU section, link here

You have a nice rig, OC that Q6600 and go stomp some games

Thanks Sanders, going to look at the link, keen to stomp, seems some games like BF2 Project reality and ARMAII prefer XP and less ram....sadly

Going to tweak as much to get stability.

I am not quite sure actually. You can rename it to Crysis and make a shortcut to it in Steam. Altough, I think you can set paremeters in steam options. I'm going to try this later.

Yes, it's pretty much BS. Altough it is still a relativly a new game, so hope som patches and newer drivers come out.

Thanks for replies

I don't think the -winxp command works correctly for the demo. I went from 36 fps average in the benchmark to 30fps average when using the -winxp command.

I haven't tested the demo. As far as I know the demo performs worse overall.

I suggest you pick the full game and use the Crysis.exe fix
