The real Green Machine (lots of pics, have fun 56K) - Page 16

Weird. I'm on my second run now (3x2.5GB) and the load temps are at 29-32°C at the cores, 15°C at the CP and 41°C at the HP. Just like the idle temps a while ago.

EDIT: Okay that must've been a glitch in Linx. With 5x2GB I'm getting the same load temps as a while ago, CP temp even increasing to 25°C. Time to up the voltage after this.

ok well you basically need better hot side cooling .. You can try it at a higher voltage but that's unlikely to help .. are you running your 2 uk3000 rpm fans at full

The HP isn't going over 45°C... it's the CP that's increased up to 27°C now. quite bothersome...

29/45 now. cores go up to 69°C. This isn't good at all.

I dont see why you guys callit the green machine. Sounds like your trying to save the o-zone layer or something.

It's leaning onto the "green machine" nVidia thread

Doesnt change that fact that it sounds like power saver or something lol.

Well if I went with ATi it would've been the "real" red tide

Upped the TEC voltage to 12V.
Idle: HP 42°C, CP 1.4-1.5°C, CPU still at 25-32°C.

dont worry about idle temps... your cpu wont go below that no matter if you put it under phase change
