Just out of curiosity, which do you use?
I use qwerty, but I average around 110WPM with spikes up to 170WPM. So yes it's very possible to get faster. It's actually more about training your brain than reaching the limit of how fast you can move your fingers.
The biggest thing that helps is for you to try planning your typing several keys ahead of where you actually are. Like if you're typing the word "phase", you should start moving your right pointer finger to the letter 'h' even before
you've hit 'p'. And the same with the letter 'e'.
