List of Build Log Entries:
None

Introduction:
With my CPU being a 3 year old Dual Core AMD, I feel it is time to upgrade from my last build. I have been debating whether to go with Phenom II (AM3) or i7 for this round. After much deliberation, I finally decided that I want to go with AMD and run the AMD Phenom II 955 Deneb. It will last me for at least a year or so and it will be much easier on my wallet.

As for Theme I've decided to go with Black and Red with the CM HAF932. I am WCing this.

Preliminary Build Design:
Below are the preliminary specs for my build. Cost is a slight issue, but I might be able to get a little more in, though I've already pretty much hit limit of $1500.

Chassis: Coolermaster Storm Scout
Motherboard: Asus M4A79T Deluxe
CPU: AMD Phenom II 955 Deneb @ 3.0GHz
RAM: OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2GBx2) DDR3 1600 PC3 12800
GPU: ATI Sapphire Radeon HD 1GB 4890
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB Sata
HDD (Secondary): None (Possibly a WD Raptor depending on how money works out)
PSU: Corsair 850TX 850W PSU
CPU Cooler: DD MC TDX watercooling block
Moniter: Flatscreen Acer X223W 22" (From my Old PC)
GPU Cooling: XSPCS 4890 Full coverage waterblock
Rad:
The item subject to change is the CPU as if AMD comes out with another Top of the Line processor I will be grabbing that as I want AMDs Top Processor.

I intend to use the stock CM Fans that come with the Scout.

I need some suggestions on a nice black fan controller but functions well aswell.

I still need to suggestions on Chipset cooling if anyone has any good ones for me.

The final look of this build should provide an aura of mystery and danger when looking at the rig on the inside. Cables disappearing and reappearing, components melding into the background, and coolers rising from the motherboard tray, also making the build look "dangerous" and ready to kill.

I am planning on getting the components by september and finishing it by November.

Also I need a place to get some Cable Sleeving and heatshrink from.

So I guess this is where the intro page ends. Feel free to comment, make suggestions, etc. on my components, my ideas, or whatever. I can always use more ideas, too!

This would be my top pick for a fan controller, that is if you don't mind the blue LED. For sleeving kits check out performance-pcs.com or xoxide.com. For CPU cooler go with either Megatron or TRUE Black if you have the cash, else Xiggy Dark Knight would probably work well with your theme.

Edit: Added links, merely for reference, there are better prices out there.

Aight thanks bro I'll look into those.

Edit: I have a little more budget now since I found the Scout lol. I'll get the true just because I wont compromise on cooling.

This reminds me to update my sig rig lol, been switching parts lately. If I have more room on my desk I would be more than happy to move on to something bigger.

For the $10 I personally think I'd go with the Meglahems, it's as good if not better. But I know you're going for a black out theme.

It seems like you could easily get away with a Corsair 750TX power supply, and even still have room to add another 4890 for crossfire down the road. The closer loaded a psu is to it's limit the better the efficiency it runs at.
