They're pretty good but they're really overpriced. You can get coolers much better than them for like 20-30 bucks less. But if you're gettin it for free, it'll be great.

Cool. Will I still be able to mount the top side fan on the Scout though?

No. But honestly it's much better to have a good cooler + the bottom side fan than having a junk cooler with 2 side fans.

Nah, Megalahems will not fit with the top side panel fan on.

Eh Either way I dont give a damn lol I'll have a great CPU cooler either way. If I do get a megahalem will I have to lap it? If not I'm going to get that use it in my new rig and put the CM V8 in my old rig.

Except for the maker of the 4890, you kinda stole my setup hehe

For the cooler, I don't have one, but I know people who do, get a Coolermater V8. It's a very large heatsink, but I know it delivers.

Remember with the Megahalems cooler, you need that AM2 bracket. If you are getting the TRUE, you can only mount the fan facing up or down. If you are on a budget, I'd suggest the Mugen 2, because it uses a backplate (that is compatible with LGA 775, LGA 1366, AM2), and you can orient the fan whichever way you want.

You can see the Mugen 2, in the Storm Sniper Case in my build log (in my sig).
