Anything stick out in Area 3 that would be causing the dip as opposed to the other?

I don't remember which scene Area 3 is offhand though. Time to run it again I suppose.

It starts out in the area with the dogs and then moves onto a half-destroyed bridge.

i averaged around 50-60 in all 4 segments, with all settings maxed on my sig rig. nuff to earn me a B, at least. the game runs so smoothly, though, that i doubt anyone will notice any framerate drops until it dips into the 20s.

50-60 Fps in all 4 parts ? Did ya take a screenshot of your results ? I'd like to see your Area 3 results, just curious. DX9 or DX10 ? - NM, just noticed you're on an Nvidia GPU.

This does seem to be badly optimized somewhere on AMD GPU's. Not sure why it's a certain area.

My FPS dips the lowest when there's fire. As soon as I get hit with fire and the enemies throw Molotov cocktails I go from around 75 average to low 40's. That's the biggest hit I take anywhere in the benchmark.

For me, it starts as soon as the area loads, right when you are climbing up the ladder on to the metal shipping crates.

Weird, hopefully it's just a bug or something and won't be in the final game. If it's in that part there's no telling how much of the actual game it might affect.

Oh it will without a doubt be fixed, just have to alert AMD and Capcom. I've already made a thread on Capcom's site, so this should be taken care of either before release if it's an issue on Capcom's end, or in a hotfix driver or complete new driver if it's on AMD's end.

remember that the game is not out yet. so it should be fixed whit out any problem.

or it's just AMD . we will see in coming future.
