Don't know where you got that idea...a single stage TEC at 27ÂºC will generally have a DTmax of around about 69ÂºC...irrespective of qmax if you do stacking that is place one TEC directly on top of another you generally increase qmax by 10Âº a step roughly....
Dt alters primarily with power as the power drops so does the Dt but also the value that was Qmax drops too. Having extra TEC's to increase the cooling power (the Qmax are compounded together) doesn't increase the Dt. The Dt's aren't compounded together....
