It was the low-quality/res environments that looked like poo. The character designs were fine but some of the maps (Korkari Wilds, etc) were pretty bad.

Lol, ME is a good game. Any attributes of which would not go a miss in DA:2.

I mean, vocalisation of the main character is a huge plus to begin with.

I don't know what I'm doing but this game is constantly crashing on me. My fios is down and I'm using my phone tethered to my pc for internet at the moment so a complete reinstall is not possible. I'm currently on patch 1.04 and my drivers are the latest releases from the nvidia site. Anyone else having these 5 minute to 1 hour crashes?

Edit: I tried to download the latest patch from the bioware website, but when I went to install it, it told me that I couldn't use it on the steam version. I validated the files through steam, it had an update, and now it will let me click resume game, but crash on the loading screen.

I looked around and saw that maybe uninstalling adobe air would fix it, but alas I still have the same problems.

I've tried running Ccleaner and defrag the hard drives, but I dont know what to do at this point. My physx drivers, audio drivers, mobo software is all up to date, I've killed all nonessential processes and turned off my AV. Every other game I have runs just fine.

Have you joined the Bioware forums and post a thread regarding about your problems. I have been helped several times in the Bioware forums.

Anywhoo, I'm going to post my problem since no one in the Bioware forums has a solution.

I bought Golems of Amgarrak and Leiliani's several weeks ago and they both show up as unauthorized. I have logged in and logged out and still the same result. I have done the DAupdater, patched it to 1.04 and with no results. Anyone???

Fix your CPU overclock DA dies like crazy if you have even a little instability, I had the same problem pumping an extra .05 V's made this problem disappear.

also, try setting it to run on 1 core. (launch game, alt tab out, open task manager, hit set affinity, and make sure it runs on one core)

sorted out the every-5-minutes crashes i started having when they pushed out 1.03

I've played Dragon Age before on the same CPU specs without crashes, but I'll try. I've also tried out running it on one core and it still crashes.
