I read some lore stuff on the forums at BioWare for Dragon Age it looks fascinating! I wasn't too obsessed with this game at first, but the more I find out about it the more interested and obsessed I am becoming.

That's actually great news for me. Before, Dragon Age and Borderlands were releasing on the same day, now I can buy Borderlands on October 20th and still get Dragon Age when it comes out on the third.

There's a new GC09 trailer and set of screenshots.

I have my fingers crossed for Borderlands to be successful!

Anywho, I got a chance to play through the demo at Gen-Con this past weekend (PC & xbox) and was very impressed. Solid graphics and animation! The way the spiders I took down moved, was pretty creepy. I liked the little touches of blood and arrows showing on the character during cut scenes. It was loud there, so I couldn't really tell you anything about the audio.

The xbox version looks nice with solid frame rate, but as we know the PC blew it away. Spoke with some of the devs at the booth and the current play time is about 60-80hrs depending on one's play style. The map is huge!

All in all, it's what you expect from Bioware. Will be pre-ordering the collectors for the extra character and in-game content. And for those interested, they said a Steam release was very likely.

great!

if only box copies were to authenticate off of steam, but that's a long shot, eh? anyways, it looks great. can't wait for it to come out. hopefully it will be as fun as the older D&D titles, specifically Baldur's Gate 1 and Icewind Dale. and that box art looks epic

One of the Devs ran down what the specs were on the demo machines, but I forgot almost all of it, lol

I do know that the game was maxed out with an 8800 - besides AA I think..??
