Guys, this game looks pretty interesting, I'll probably be picking it up for myself for Christmas. I got a few questions though... many of you said it's like a hybrid between Mass Effect and Baulders Gate. I've played Mass Effect but I haven't played Baulders Gate. It looks somewhat like Elder Scrolls Oblivion. Any similarities between the two? I also heard you can use first person/third person view? Oh, and this isn't turned based is it? It's around $50 bucks here, is it worth it?

It's not turn based.

There is no first person view, it's over the shoulder or isometric from the top like Diablo II.

Game is definitely worth it. GOTY for me.

Can't seem to make myself pull the trigger on this game. It looks fun and I've heard it's very challenging which is nice but spending 60 hours for a single story line out of many seems pretty daunting.

Convince me please?

Two words:

Custom content.

The main story is HUGE if you do the side quests, and all the origin stories. Plus, the toolset is pretty damn powerful. I'm starting to work on a custom story line myself.

Oh wow, excuse my ignorance but I had no idea that was even included. That's pretty much got me sold, but I don't feel like having to wait for that download via steam/D2D (the fastest internet in my area is DSL so...), hopefully somebody will have it stocked near me.
