Did you really quit-loadsave every time you fell, or does it not count being revived?

Dragon Age: Origins Patch 1.03 Released

* Various changes have been made to code and resources to support the Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening expansion pack. Most of these changes do not affect Origins itself.
* Some players were experiencing increasingly long load times. A major cause of this problem has been fixed.
* At higher levels, non-player characters now receive a bonus to armor penetration. This mitigates an unintentional imbalance with well-armored high-level characters, since armor penetration previously did not scale as aggressively as armor itself did.

Elite-rank enemies (lieutenants) can no longer be shattered. This preserves the intended tactical design of many combat encounters.
* Portraits for summoned creatures (like a ranger’s wolf) were displaying improperly while in the party camp. This no longer occurs.

To get to lvl 25 (without cheating)
I always had the items equipped that give extra xp. One of them is a belt, and one is a ring. Then after you complete one of the main quests you start putting stuff in your allies crate for extra xp. Money is the easiest of course. You also have to try to get as many encounters as possible and steal from everyone and I mean everyone as many times as you can. Also use a rogue to disarm all traps for the extra xp. Try to find as many side quests as you possibly can and do them immediately. One way I do this is to keep Loethering alive as long as possible. That way when I look at my current quests I know I haven't went past a point I can't go back to and complete a quest. For instance, you can do the Dwarf quest completely till the end, just don't talk to whoever you sided with after the last battle, just leave. Loethering will still be accessible. It doesn't provide any benefit other than not passing up side quests.

To get such high spellpower is easy. Put all your points into magic and have the spell wisp and spell might abilities. That particular character has every single point in magic IIRC. The only other thing I needed was constitution since I have no need for willpower as a blood mage. I used items to get the extra constitution needed as you can see in the video.

I'll also point out I maximized the bonus to spirit damage and all of my spells are spirit based. Notice my greatest damage dealt, which is 1220 in one single hit.

Corrupted magister staff has +15% spirit damage, black hand gauntlets give +20% spirit damage, then add in affliction hex (30+[.3 x SP])% penalty to elements and you have a very powerful spirit attack. Using that combination with that character will get over 100% bonus to spirit damage with spell might and spell wisp on.

ohh i see. I went the other route, regular mage with fire/ice/lightening attack. Didnt know spirit damage was so strong. Also since you only upped magic and constitution, of course you will max out faster since i had to up willpower too. I would go back and replay as a rogue or warrior in the future if i have the time.

I'm afraid the saved games might not be retroactive, but I'm not sure.

I had the same thing, stability before, crashing at least 1-2 times per hour now up to 4.
