Probably 3/4s done with my rogue. Because both of my playthroughs have been Human nobles, I am starting to get curious if it would differ much with other classes. I really would like to see the PC interaction as a mage in the Mages Tower or an Elf in the Brecilian Forest or the Alienage.
So just curious, if you're a Rogue, what was your party makeup? I would assume you wouldnt have Zevran or Lelianna in the party.

I do use Sten or Shale a lot more I noticed this time around. But I built my rogue as a DPS character so using Leliana isn't much of a burden. I never use Zevran because he's too redundant. But, yeah, I'm sticking to the 2 tanks, 1 mage, 1 rogue makeup more often than not.

I just give Morrigan that initial healing spell and that does fine in about any scrum as far as healing goes. That and buck up on health poultices and a straight forward healing mage isn't necessary.

I do like the revival spell though. Being able to bring back a fallen member of your team during the same tussle they fell in is handy as hell.

so it would seem I left the Silverite mine to early. How do I get back into it? The exit from the Wending wood is blocked and the map wont let me travel there. Any ideas?

New DLC sounds interesting. Hopefully it is a little more substantial than Return to Ostagar.

currently on a playthrough w/ a dwarf dual wield warrior, nightmare solo :d

Constant swift salve if you use blood thrist + momentum . deals a continuous 12damage but you can get your health regen in combat that high.

For those of you playing or that have played Awakening, is Velanna a substantial character? I only asked because I missed out on recruiting her.

<Spoilers Start NOW>

I did the Wending Woods run and did the dialogue tree with her until it came to where she was talking about her sister. My options came to "Can I help" and "Good luck with that". In no way did think clicking the later would end the conversation, send her away and make me lose out completely on recruiting her. It only seemed natural that she would pop up again the mines or keep talking ..but nothing. So I have the choice of going back to my last hard save (which was 2 hours previous) or going on without her. What do you think? Is Anders a better option anyway since he's a great balance between healer and primal?

Just finished the game and WOW, I am simply dazzled. This has to be one of the best if not THE best RPG I have ever played (and I've played many since my first, FF7 in 1997).

*Spoilers Below*

I just loved the overall story for my main character a DW female elf Rogue and how it evolved from being an underprivileged and abused resident of the elven Alienage to becoming the key to the throning of the new King of Ferelden (I chose Alistair in my playthrough, even though they were having a relationship, don't trust that other *****, she set me up twice) and defeating the Archdemon in a most cinematic way. In the end I chose to do the pact with Morrigan and saved Sabris's and Alistair's lives. Through Alistair she helped her people to regain more rights as equal citizens in Ferelden. She then went on to rejoin the Gray Wardens in the continuing fight with the Darkspawn and their remaining war bands. Can't express how much I loved this game, I recommend this one to anyone who has any enjoyment of role-playing experiences. There are so many choices throughout the game that affect how the story plays out and how it ends, it's a great satisfaction to see the different possibilities play out based on your decisions. The combat is amazing too, I played as a cunning and stealth based Rogue. Whenever a large force of enemies would appear I would use her to set traps while in stealth mode with almost no chance of being detected, then proceeding to lure the enemies into my traps with the use of her bow. Whatever remained was easily dispatched by her extremely high dps (momentum + speed salve = insane atk speed). Her heroic accomplishments show that she has 100% hit chance and did more than 60% of total team damage. It was very fun playing as this class, with my build, more so than any other class I would say as I used them on my companions. Next I will move on to Awakening, which I am sure will not be as epic as this game, but will surely be enjoyable as well.
