hey, brand new member here and saw this thread, and thought i would ask a couple of questions since i just bought the NZXT tempest evo. now im not trying to hate on the case or anything, but the stock fans in this case are ****, my old case with 1 fan in it (exhaust) and intake air vents runs cooler then this case. idle was 37C and when i replaced the back stock fan(1200 RPM)with my fan from my old case (2200 RPM) , the temperature went down to 28-30C idle. this was the same temperature in my old case, which is very disappointing. my question is if i replace the stock fans in this case with higher RPM fans, will i notice a huge difference in temperature?

Try doing your research next time. The stock fans on the Tempest EVO were intended to be really quiet, which they are. You are more than welcome to replace the fans with ones that push more air, and yeah, you will see a temperature difference.

It has absolute fine airflow actually, manage your cables and properly configure your hardware and the airflow is really good.

these are popular lately.

this one is really inexpensive.

another similar to the first one

inexpensive

hey thanks. definetely going to replace these fans because i can barely feel any air coming out of them. and i dont really care about the fan noise, because most the time i have my headphones blasted anyways, and never leave it on when im not using it.

any body can tell me how to open the op panel of nzxt tempest evo ? because i want to change the 14cm fans with led fan... i think the new aerocool shark fan will be nice..

i notice there are 2 screws at the front connecting with the top panel,,we can see itu if we open the front panel,,after removing that screw,,what should i do ? is there any other screw ? or just pull it like removing the front panel ?

what you people think about changing the stock fan of nzxt tempest evo with coolermaster 90cfm,,,based on your expirience,,will it make my system cooler ? i hv some pieces of coolermaster 90cfm from my old cases,,i'm thinking whether to sold it or use it..hehe..

OC results from intel burn test were a little high but didn't crah and 3D Mark 06 didn't break 45c...

Stock clocks on CPU and GTX480
Overclocked CPU, GTX480 stock

IDK whats going on with my GTX480 but in BC2 I am getting solid 80-100 FPS in DX10 with High settings, 4XAA/4XAF HBAO=OFF...But my card is only being used 50-60% which is just like the pics in the stock clock link...I rolled back drivers and am getting better frames but same utilization...so weird
nice gtx480 dude.. i just can stare it,,no hope to buying it,, don't have that much of money to spend on a GPU.. how to change the top fan of nzxt,,? i'm thinking to change my top fan with the one that has led on it..teach me please..
