Funny story, if I eject the drive, it comes within 1 millimeter of the wall without touching it. It's amazing, and that's just how it worked, I didn't need to adjust it.

Also, thanks for the advice - I cut the meshes out just an hour or two ago

Wow... I did not know that you could mount your hard drives like that on a Tempest EVO. I am thinking about completely getting rid of the tool-less design for HD since I find them not very secure. How many can fit behind one fan slot?

HDDs? Four for one bracket.
They give you two brackets, so 8 altogether. If you use the 3.5" bracket, then it could be 9 if you have no need for a card reader.

Ahh... crap, the orientation of Black's case messed me up. I though he removed the tool-less design HD cage.

The hard drives (if oriented in correctly and properly clicked in place) are plenty safe, unless you plan on rolling your case down a hill. Keep in mind that for the tooless hard drive rail mounts that clip on to the hard drive, the correct one needs to be on the top and the correct bottom one needs to be on the bottom or it wont fit as secure.

And yes, my case is sitting on its side.

Guys i am thinkg of building my system around november , the thing is ,the tempest has 6 fans , and my mobo suports 1 3pin and 1 4pin fans , so i was planning on getting the nzxt syntre 2 and connecting the 2 front fans on one channel , the problem is i dont know the amperage the nzxt tempest evo fans run at , so i have no clue if the syntre 2 will support 2 fans on one channel =/

Any ideas ?

Well you can plug plenty of fans directly into the power supply via a molex connector. All of the fans on the Tempest EVO have both 3 pin motherboard connectors and 4 pin molex connectors. Great thing about fans with molex connectors is you can chain them together and connect a few to one plug.

Do you happened to know which one goes on the bottom and which goes on top? There are labels: L and R, but that isn't very clear since the HD are mounted side way.

Just slide them in without a hard drive and make sure it goes in ALL the way.
