Allow me to share a few tips with you.

1: Before installing your hardware, consider removing the meshes on the fans. It will maximize airflow and cut down on noise. Look a little ways back in this thread and you will see how i cut the grills on the front intake fans, which is a great idea.

2: Tape, Zipties, and some patience are your friends. Use the bulge in the back panel to hide the cables you can.

3: If you want to remove the front bezel, don't pull it off. Remove the side panels and use a tool to gently pry it off. The first time I pulled it off I ripped the hard drive LED out of its slot. Do what I said and you will be fine.

Have fun with the build.
Ok man, Thanks will post pics

I just bought 4, 1 for the side, 2 for the front, and 1 for the rear. When they get here I will be taking all my parts out and re-wiring my case. I'd also like to know how do you take out the bottom hard drive bay? And how do I get access to both of the fans in the front so I can change them out? Thanks.

Thread Starter
I have mounted the 140mm rad on the top and that was really tricky due to my lack of hardware and making sure I had the clearance to keep the ram clips accessible on my board. Unfortunately a small portion of the rad will not get airflow, so I hope this will not be a large problem?

Have any of your guys ever saved those weird random pieces of metal thinking...hmmm I could use this one day, but it never happens? well today it did! (see smiley)

As you can see, there is enough room for me to access the ram clips. (yes my cats hair is everywhere

The second radiator (RX120) will be mounted in the front 5.25" drive bays. I will be using two Noctua NF-P12's as the push\\pull fan config. I was originally going to use one Noctua and a stock CM fan but decided to use the stock fan elsewhere. I am trying to improve the acoustics on this semi-new build. Also using the clear tubing just for exact length cuts for when I get the black/ orange tubing.

Did a little investigating today and took apart my fan that was broken, the fan blades snap off without any real hassle at all... Cheap ass blades. The circuit board was fried, and you could clearly see/smell it. Still not too sure on how the fan blade broke though..

has anyone tried mouting a 280mm rad on top and modding the bottom to hold a 240?

So, can anyone tell me how to take out the hard drive bays so I can get to the front intake fans? My CoolerMaster fans are going to be coming tomorrow and I will be taking apart items off of my case, and need to know how to do it. Please help! Thanks.

Click the camera in my sig and you will see how to get access to the front intake fans, in fact I have pics there of my Tempest unrivetted and put back together after it was painted. They are just held in by 4 screws and the housing is held in by 4 screws also I beleive. I have CM R4's also installed and they are great value fans...

You don't need to remove the hard drive cages to get to the fans, you remove the front bezel and remove the little mesh then replace the fan.

Edit: see

Ok I see how easy it is to get to from the front now. Thanks. I also want to know how to take off the top hard drive bay, as I have no need for it..
